hmm, not bad at all..but I thought you said the paint peeled off...doesnt look that bad to me...of course my monitor is VERY dark and doesnt shot detail as easily as others...

are you sure it isnt the clear coat? if you run water over that spot does it look like the rest of that paint? if it was the clear you could always go to pepboys and buy a can of clear coat paint in a spray can and use that

you have the automatic gauges right? for an auto?, you might wanna take a red pen and mark on them where the actual redline is. or maybe i havent seen an n/t gauge in a while but i thought the tach ended at 9k ?

I have an AT, and it only has a 8k tach as well, and my gauges are stock.

its not the clear coat that peeled, its actually the paint. The camera really didnt show how bad it is.

Yeah much better. But that pic really does look like it's just the clear coat. Are you absolutely positive that if you put water all over it, it doesn't get shiny like the rest of the paint? If it even shows a bit of shine, you may be able to clear coat and then buff it with a professional high-speed buffer and rubbing compound to fix it. It really looks like there's still paint since if there wasn't paint, you should see white or gray primer, not the reddish color that's on there.

its a different color red, a little darker than the rest. When i peeled the vinyl off the red paint stuck right to it, so i know it was paint

Yeah much, much, MUCH better looking!

I would get some cheap clear corners off eBay though, the orange doesn't flow w/ everything.

looks awesome now imo. only thing i would say aside from painting where you are already planning to, is to repaint the center tailight piece. it looks to be a little dull compared to the rest.

the center tail light peice is only primered at the moment, its a red primer. Its going to be painted as soon as i can get some cash and give Ryan Hes a call

it looks really smooth man it is a hundred times better
