Well I plan to start molding, fixing, and prepping the car for paint this weekend. I am kinda attached to the purple/plum Wildberry pearcoat paint code but would be willing to change the amount of pearl in it. This would allow me not to have to change the trunk bay, engine compartment, and door jams-- which would save a ton of sandpaper and time. Which color pearl toner would you guys recommend to make the car stand out? I have mixed custom paints and it's really not hard and since I will be going to work for Sherwin-Williams Auto paint division, I'm getting a deal on whatever I want.
--Secondly, what color should I powder-coat the wheels with that color?

If your not willing to do the engine bay with a complete color change, stay with the factory plum. Its such a beautiful color when it shines. Repaint the outside with the same color, wetsand, buff to a brillant shine, and leave it be. As for the rims, powercoating them the same maroon would or may be over kill. Go for the stock GST chromies. That would be clean! imo
