I did search, everyones' hosting is dead! I already know I'm doing this to my car... Tore off my (*sob*/*cry*) perfect Wings West wing and sold it for CHEAP just so I wouldnt back out on this... Car has to be as low key as possible... Shop I have a "kind of" good deal at tells me $400 for welding, bondo, and paint.

Anyway, can anyone with shaved wings pls post pictures? Thanks!

Damn yeah does look good

I need some like... EXTREME tinting on the fixed windows and maybe some conservative tinting on hatch to make it look smoother... silver tends to show curves a lot harder I think... for some reason it looks a little bloated without my wing... :\

Maybe i'll change my mind once all the work is done

I just got my quarter windows retinted to 5% and the rear window remains at 20%. Is that what you want to see?

That blue eclipse with the dual exhaust just looks mean. Not very often do chrome wheels rock that good on a performance oriented car. I don't even like chrome but it works on that car.

I have a silver wingless eclipse soooo.....the pic right above the blue car has long been my favorite.

OT but how does $110 to paint handles and mirrors sound?

he did say that it might not match perfectly "because its plastic" ...

(but then how do they paint urethane bumpers??)

=o

ive noticed that the paint never really matches up that well on white and silver eclipses when it comes to bumpers and such. You might just have to deal with the little difference thats only noticable to you of course..and every other Eclipse enthusiast abroad}(

yeah I'm probably just going to save the 110, still need to do something about muffler and of course locating/purchasing stock skirts/bumper

I have a question how do you make your tail light dark grey like that silver eclipse has?

Thanks

SSSH NOBODY TELL HIM!! DONT WANT MY GOAL TO BE PLAYED OUT!! :D

http://store.yahoo.com/afterthoughtsauto/vhtnigpain.html

You want to be careful with it though... Put too much on and it will dry up all... greyish/completely block out any light! Friend did this on his Civic. Just a couple of even coats.

The only problem is that it's highly illegal, and if you get busted for it you're screwed (unless you have another set of tails on hand!)
