hey guys, im looking for pics of a chrome altezza center section. This is what i need. im looking for one that has the same depth as the stock ones....ya know ones that look "3-d" prefferablly one that has the crome/red part in the back of the housing, instead of stuck to the clear lens. anybody know where i can pick one up?

OK, heres the thing...
ever read the mod for making the center taillight section glow? i was going to find a chrome center section, take it apart, wire LED's to where the red lenses were, and use the chrome part as a reflector, then slap a stock, red lense over top. so it would be brighter and stuff....

i had a feeling u were going to pull something out of your ass. i had an idea kinda like this once too, take the clear lense of an altezza and put it on the stock housing, essentially your own clear tails. i dont like altezzas but i think transparent clear tails would be sweet lookin. the only clears i've seen havent been completely transparent they were like a stock lense, just not red.

ok first off this is what it will look like without the red cover



secondly from experience an led light will do absoluley nothing ... even with reflectors ... the only thing that will light up the red center piece will be 2 things ... 2 thin white neon lights going horiziontal and or lots and lots and lots of perfectly aligned leds ... now also remember that the center piece for the altezzas were never ment to be anything more than a reflector ... so you will never have a deep area for light. the corner lenses are huge and will not fit... if u decide to go with regular light as opposed to led ... remember that a bulb bigger than 194 will melt the reflector. have fun dood
