660, Spoiler search Posted by Ryan_Hes, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I have a maroon 97 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. I am having new sideskirts mounted soon (The aftermarket ones that curve up) and I am looking for a kickass spoiler. Something kind of 'loud' but sharp looking too.
1. Any suggestions on the type of spoiler? 2. Where could I get one for a good price?
~Ryan
p.s. I will have a pic on my sig soon

if your talkin wings i personally like the gt-r. i forget who makes it...maybe wings west. dont know. any way it looks like a stock low spoiler with a wing attached about 6" above it. if you just want a spoiler i like the turbo style. its all a matter of personal taste

take off the factory spoiler and wiper/antenna and fill in the holes. teh best look for us is no spoiler at all.

when you pull the antenna..aren't you gonna screw up your reception?

You know the defroster 'wires' that are integrated into the rear windshield...well, Im pretty sure that is also an integrated antenna.

i dont think those are hooked up on the rs cause my friend took off his shaft antenna and he had no reception at all.

670, RE:antenna reception Posted by cyan, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
no removing my antenna did not hurt my reception...it deleted it. i will either add an aftermarket antenna on the rear quarter panel or roof, or i will live with listening to cd's all the time

I saw an eclipse that had a VW style antenna (out the middle of the roof above the back window at an angle). It looked hot!
