I have an idea!!!!! remember the red light that went back and forth when Kit would talk.. I want that.. dont matter the color really, but I think it'd be neat either on the dash by the windshield or on my bumper (protected from weather of course).. anyone tried it or have any ideas?

why not just use the Varad scanners, its a little row of leds that does exactly what you want.

I have 2 sets of light in a custom fiberglass eclosure on the dash. When I start the car the lights turn on from the outside to the center and then back outside to the current display. On the left is A/F and on the right is the battery monitor. The higher the intensity of either the closer it does to the center. The center has a radar detector. Thats what I used for that kind of effect and love it.

Haha! :P First, it swept no matter if kit was talking or not, that was his radar/scanner thing they reffered to alot...but anyway.. I have a small one in the tiny gap between my hood and front bumper, it's smaller than KITTs though, it's one of those APC sweeper leds, it's blue, my undercar lights also do that sweeping thing, I am replacing the small APC sweepe led I have right now with a 12" LED tube behind the grille so that it's more noticible when my undercar LEDs are on,and to make it more like KITT as well(My car is kinda like what KITT Woulda been like if he were a DSM :P, and I'm a HUGE Knight Rider fan, BTW) I'll get some pics ASAP

i'm not a n00b by any account, I just have a very short attention span usually, and I am NOT joking. I do admit I do not know everything about DSMs, but I like it that way, learning is a great experience for me, y'know, the satisfaction of knowing that you can now pass on to others things you have learned, etc, etc...

This is cool man. Noobs are actually sharing mods with each other instead of a veteran. this is something we don't see everyday. I'd like to see pictures of this knight rider set up myself. I find it to be pretty cool and interesting.
