after all the posts about carbon fiber headliners and fiberglassed this and that i'm going to try to fiberglass the hatch cover. i've never done fiberglassing before but it seems fairly simple and the cover seem fairly simple to start with. but i was just wondering if i took pics of the whole process and did a pretty good job if you guys would want a write-up?

If you are able to try and make it a replacement. When I was making the fiberglass plug for the molds that damn hatch cover was heavy after all the resin, glass and bondo. I am glad I did not use that. I mean basically after you glass the deck lids and paint it etc...you will have actually created a plug that you can now make a perfect mold off of. Think about it! ;)
