Yup! Still the functioning 2 way LED. What is modified is the white light that is on in the snowflake when your headlights are on and the AC is off. Thanks for the compliment!

i did that too. it looks hella nice with the rest've the dash converted to blue. i used a varad LED though. they've got the resistor built into a miniature circuit board so it makes mounting things a bit eaiser. you just solder the leads to where the stock bulb screwed in.
good job! :thumbsup

i just did my reverse glow guages yesterday, and it looks sorta stupid with everything else orange. i was wondering if you can just replace the bulb with maybe a higher powered blue bulb.
obviously, there is a reason for doing it the way you guys did, and i guess my question is... why did you go through all of that instead of just replacing the bulbs??

b/c there aren't any bulbs that swap right in for the HVAC and a/c button

It's not all that much trouble if you know how to solder. I just did my HVAC display today(Blue LED Backlit). It looks awesome at night. The only bitch is getting that F..king bulb socket back in the hole! Next is going to be the ring around the ignition. I got blue 194's for the kick panel lights today too...$2.00 from Pep Boys..They're darker blue than the LED stuff(too dark for anything else), but they still look good. Oh yeah, I've also done the LED's in the cig lighter ring, and ashtray. It's good to do this kind of thing in the winter because you don't have to be exposed to the weather while you're doing it.
