has anyone ever tried this, well what i'm thinkin of doin. i'm goin to strip the interior and eventually collect whatever cf parts i can find. but i dont like carpet or those metal floor mats, so i was goin to rhino liner or something like that on the floor. we used this stuff on my friends jeep and really liked the results. i'm goin to strip out the sound deading stuff and just get everything to metal and then roll this stuff out thin, like one coat.
or am i just takin this in the total wrong direction??

well i'm not worried about it bein loud the car was that way already with the n1 and trunk taken apart. i'm lookin for something light durable( carpet is shit, with stains and dirt etc) the rubber i'll be able to risen and be done. plus its goin to block rust espically if i do an under body rust inhibitator(sp). that way my investment is protected more then most. i just want a stripped beast. bascially something i could drive everything but just need about 2 tweeks before it hits the track. kinda like a civic in one of the super streets the kid took the door skins off and just ran the handles with the plastic weather stripping. i'm sure my visions is different then everyone elses, but like i said i just wanted opinions.

As far as stripping the car down it will take you one long day to do it. If you want significant weight savings take out the front and rear bumper supports, get aftermarket seats (ours are pretty heavy), and possibly remove AC and other accessories. The carpet weighs like 10 pounds tops, I ordered one and remember it being pretty light. Good luck.
