I just caught word that my old car won an award in Jacksonville, FL. at some car show. A buddy of mine still in the scene sent me the photos attached:




My interior was never green, I was 60% done switching the beige to black carpet, black automotive paint, mild white accents, etc. before it was sold to the girl who drives it now.

The exterior hasn't changed much at all with the exception of the stickers and lil chromie trinkets.

Isn't it nice to see all your hard work paying off for someone else?

My old GS has won several shows as well. I am happy and mad at the same time .

i really like the exterior of the car but that interior, the green anyway, just kills it imo.

What kind of drugs where the judges on? Unless they just judged it from the exterior. The exterior of the car looks really nice and sharp. But the interior is totally different story. :puke

LoL. Upon selling the car to her, you should have given her a 12 hour tutorial on how to cleanly mod / improve the rest of the interior (for an extra fee of course); that or have her sign some written agreement on never bastardizing the interior!

Yeah the green ... I definately wouldn't have done that. Everyone that sees it says the same thing. She's 16 so, it might be hip with them-there youngsters ... shit, I used to have blue stripes and chrome wheels on that car when I was 16. I have to be polite with my comments, I sold it to a family friend.

I think the car could use some new white power coated wheels with a polished lip or something.

At one point, I owned both, my new car and my eclipse, for about a month and a half and I really wish I could have kept both. I'd love to have been able to garage the eclipse and drive it when I feel like snapping necks.

I still pop in here and see whats up occaisionally. Buying parts for my spyder is ridiculously expensive compared to the eclipse, so I've been laying low in that scene, i've got plans for the car though ...

One girl i used to date fell for it while she was at work ... she works at her father's doctors office. she became hysterical and made a scene. Needless to say, her father still hates my guts 9 months later. I see a different doctor now.
