65207, attention all body shop guys!!!

I recently got into an accident and messed up my fender and door and side mirror all driver's side. The body shop said they can fix the door and fender by pulling it out and what not. They quoted me 850 bucks. Another place quoted my 1100 bucks. The only part That has to be ordered is the mirror which they said was 167 bucks. What do you think of the price? Also would it be cheaper to just buy a new fender or door?

167 for the mirrors? you can get m3 mirrors from pro street that have a nice blue tint and come without the stupid led for about 130.

New door shell from junkyard = ~$200
New fender = $150?
Then paint.

I'd say replace the parts imo. Just get a new door shell.

Do you think it would be hard to find the door shells at junkyards? Also is there anywhere online you can buy door shells? Also any online junkyards that could help me?

Get the parts and do it yourself. Setting a door, fender, and a mirror are simply "bolt-on". Make sure that you just check the gap distances from the opposite side and make them "close-enough". Depending on the shop, they may or may not cut you a deal on the paint. Body shops aren't really touchy about which parts they put in since they really don't have a whole lot of warranty issues.

Junk yard :nono

Salvage yard imo. Don't walk into a Salvage Yard and call it a Junk yard... they tend not to like that.

(this is one of thoes little pieces of information I gained from class :))
