Signal lights to a different switch since the switch stopped working. ???? anyone got any ideas?

There is a shift knob with 4 buttons on top where you can hook up all kinds of stuff to them including signals lights. I'll try to find it again if your interested. Kind of a bit of dough.

ya but urs is 97 right...im 95.....i don't even wanna pull my friken steering wheel off again tho....I'm lazy. I wanna run a wire or 2 to a switch on the console!
I just wanna know if someone has done anything like this before that s all.....

thats just what ibangdchoeclipse told me when he offered me his....siad it was for 97 & up only. Im' sure of it...... other than that I need it!

it really depends on where the problem lies. you need to check the wiring. if the actual problem is like in the wiring or the relays then wiring them to a different switch won't make any difference as your switch wouldn't be the cause of the problem.
for instance, my horn buttons do not work. the horn works - the buttons in the steering wheel are jsut messed up. after making sure this was the problem, i was able to add a button to trigger the horn.
