Where does the little clip that holds the gas door shut and pop it open go? mine broke..and I found a new one but I dont know where it goes....I only found one post on this so far..

it like goes on the part of the car closest to the back. idk how you take it off... the cable goes throug the rear passenger wheel well if you wanna trace it

does anyone know what makes the gas door open, my clip is still on but the gas door doesnt pop open, is there supposed to be like a spring or somethin in there
