Im debating on getting strobe light kits, one for both head lights and reverse lights. Does anyone think that is goign too far? I have a good stereo system and when i go places where i can bump music at night with a big group of friends I thought that it might add a nice effect to the atmosphere. What does everyone think?

Depends on what direction you plan on going. I dont think they are to expensive so you wont be out that much. They are nice for show.

I would just go all out with 'em.... get whatever color you want in the headlights and reverse lights because they're clear and then get some and put them in the tails(i would get white bulbs for this unless you have those completely clear ones) all in all you'd be out like $100(usually they're $20-$25 per set), but if you just wanna do the headlights and reverse lights, $50 should be what you're gonna be spending.... Just be careful with them, cops HATE strobes of any color on the outside of a car, even if you're sitting in a parking lot with them on, if a cop sees, he'll come over there and harass you about 'em..at least they do here...

i've seen advance auto parts and autozone sell like little like lights you stick in your headlights or taillights and there is like a 'brain' that you can use to turn them on or off.. they are like $9-$11 for a set.. so I'm guessing 2 sets.. and you plug them into your cig lighter..but it would be better to wire them up to something and use the 'brain' to control when they come on and off and how fast they blink..

get a real set from ebay, you buy them 20 dollar ones at pep boys or any local shops they're go nna die out in a week. so just buy a real set you'll probably be out 150 bucks but they are bright fast and they last. you can also control the way they flash. but if you just want a cheap thrill go for the $20 ones

I got my strobes from Advance, Streetglow Optix series, about $25-$30(cant remember i think closer to $30 after taxes) and they're still working fine(when I have them hooked up anyway), they arent like the cheap ones with little covers you find in the "high performance" (LMAO) section, they were over with all interior neons and such, sure you cant change the color, but the quality seems to be much better, they're brighter as well...they also make the little box as an accessorie, it's able to control up to like 4 sets of strobes at once, it's like $20 or so though, but may be worth it if you have more than one set and would like to set the patterns...
