I would like to tint my foggy 95-96 headlights, since they don't make covers for them. Would this look good? Would the paint melt off? How should I do this?

Even if they do make covers, I still want to tint the headlights. What kind of spray do I use, and how do I do it? Would it drasticaly impare my vision? All info would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Is there a such thing as blue tinting. I think it would be awsome to tint the outside of the headlights blue. Or would smoke look better? Also is this really the smae spray stuff to use on your taillights?
