So now I hear I need buy or make changes to some L bracket to complete the conversion. Someone at the shop is going to be like WTF! if they cant get that bumper on right (the rear bumper) I just learned this from another thread today. Help me out guys, this goes down tomorrow. TIA:thumbsup

I think you only need different brackets if your changing from a talon to an eclipse bumper. Even if you do need a different bracket the body shop shouln't have any trouble fabricatind them.

The part that sits above the rear license plate for your reverse lights is different. I think they do need some sort of brackets to properly mount the reverse lights. I could be wrong though. All I know is that it is slightly different back there comparing 95 versus 99 rear bumpers.

I know for a fact that the reverse light assebly screw directly into the bumper itself, not the body so that shouldn't be a problem. Whew. I got scared for a second.

if you have an eclipse, you have nothing to worry about. It is a direct bolt on. Why is the shop doing it? IT is an easy swap, i did it myself in less than 20 minutes.

That's good to know. I just remember there is some metal bracket (above the license plate) that is different on the 95-96 and 97-99 rear bodies. I compared mine with icjeclipse and it was different, so his blitz rear was mounted slightly different than mine.
