63169, Cool company, and cheap. Posted by ashaleenicole, Dec-09-03 01:46 PM
i was about to buy these custom door panels from teamprototype.com (which are pretty cool, with space for gauges, and 3 speakers) but anyway, we found this company called Autocraft. My work signed up to be an authorized dealer of autocraft, and they're coming down to see how the place is run, etc. They have any color in the rainbow, and offer custom replacement of door panels, seats, and armrests for only a couple hundred bucks. (PS-if anyone has seen their product before on a site, and wasnt impressed try going to them direct, they can get any color you want!) Anyway, they are coming down, and they want to design a fully custom interior for my car, and sponsor me. SO, since i bought all my stuff from my work, I am sponsored by my company, and this company, if all works out well. I get a bonus for everyone who buys autocraft from my work. YAY!! Everyone should check autocraft out, its pretty cool what they can do. If anyone has used them before and has any comments or complaints, post em so i know what im getting myself into :)

I'm sure they do good work. I was just having a moment. I actually would like to do the kind of work they do rather than gelling the panels or buy some other fiberglass int or something. Thats why it was frustrating for me to go on that site and not see prices. So they dont have a template for the eclipse yet, huh? Is that why they want to do your car? And when they do do your car will they then be able to ship their product out or is it something their factory has to do to your car in person?

Autocraft products are sold on other websites, which is where i found them...I'll have to find out what site i was on. But when they are sold through other companies, they are all neutral colors. When we originally found out about this kit, they said 500 dollars for door panels and seats. But I already had different seats, so we called the company direct to get a price on door panels, which were 200 dollars I think. When i called I told them about my interior, which is pink and black. I was planning to get the whole door in black and just paint it. But they said, they have any color available, and wanted to custom design some door panels for me. SO...The bottom line is:if you want neutral colors, like black, navy blue, grey, etc. then wait for me to remember the site and order it through there. But if you're looking for something different, contact the company direct. My advice: go tell your local dealer about it, be the example car, and make them pay you money for expanding their business. }(
