I'm going to make my own gauge pod for the center vent (cut out the vents and put plastic behind it then mount two gauges into it), and block off the air duct. (for boost and a/f gauges, leaving me the triple pillar for egt, oil pressure, and volt meter)

Did you do yours yourself? What did you use to lay the matting into to take the shape?

i want to put gauge pods in the center velts but damn, who the hell would pay 150 for something to mount there gauges on?

on a import tuner issue with a 420 eclipse turbo, this dude had a gauge in installed in the vents. you can go the cheap route that way by cutting the vents a little, then squeezing the gauges in. at least its WAAAYYY cheaper than 150.

I can send them to you with a flat face with nothing cut out, or cut out the guage holes for you. Well if you can give me dimensions i can mount anything you want in them.

Hey could you make me sometime after the holiday season. I am broke from buying christmas presents. Also if you make one for me can you put the holes for the gauges and cut out the holes for the defrosters, hazard, wiper button, and possibly a hole for the little lever that turns the vents temp cooler or normal? (you know what I mean)

It is all in how you want the finished job to look I guess. 58 people in the last year seem to like it. But yes it is exspensive for some. I am just saying, it is an option if you have the money for custom carbon fiber parts. We offer them flat faced and uncut for $90 plus shipping.
I will agree though, I have seen some really nice fiberglass center guage vents that are kick a$$ also. Just gotta look around.

That wheel that controls hot air or fresh air is just for the center vent, so if you didn't a center vent then it wouldn't matter.
