62677, centerpiece?? Posted by hydrata, Nov-29-03 06:06 PM
hi, on a lot of your car pics i see that instead of the factory centerpiece that matches the tailights and says "eclipse" a lot of you have a piece that matches the color of the car (dunno how else to describe it)...where can i find one of these pieces?

The center is just painted to match the car, the eclipse lettering is just a sticker so it comes right off.;)

it doesn't matter that the center's made of plastic or glass or whatever?

no...but do yourself a favor and get some goo-gone or something BEFORE you take off the letters...I saw a camry today on my way home that had the "CAMRY" on the back "shaved" and you could still see the glue....ridiculously ugly...:puke
good luck!

This is the option I used for my center peice and for several folks also. Laminated with carbon fiber and UV gel coated. I shaved the key hole on mine, obviously in the link you see I left that one open. You need to send your stock one in to have done as I do not keep extras around. The one you send is the one that gets done, mark it if you'd like.:rolleyes :) $125 plus shipping to have it done (take the letters off first). For me it was just a cheap to do than have the local paint shop tackle. Leo
