62619, Fixing the Spaztic Blinker When Using LED Bulbs

What strength resistor do I need to use to put inline with my turn signal so my blinker isn't spaztic?
Could I just put a DMM up to an OEM turn signal bulb and see the resistance then get a resistor to match it?
Sounds easy?
