Was taking a right at a starbucks parking lot.. then CRACK!! Turns out I misjudged the curb and turned too early.. skirt is cracked straight in half and and along the bottom in 2 ways. ;( ;( ;( ;( ;( No pix yet cuz I don't have a camera.. but it looks like its repairable.. which brings me to the reason of the post:

Anyone know how to fix it? I've never worked with fiberglass before.

As for you skirt luckly for you it is fiber glas and very repairable but i dont know how :)

alright, iam not in no means an expert at fiberglassing so if i miss something or iam wrong correct me

i did the exact same thing. my skirt actually also got caught under the car, it only cracked at where the screw were holding it in, by the fender wells. anyways, you need to buy some fiberglass resin, hardener, and some matting. matting to me is pretty easy. mix the resin and harderen (dont need to much just follow directions) and put the matting in it, and apply it onto the skirt. if you dont understand, ask the people you pay it from. the place i got mine was like a special paint store and they do detailing and stuff. i dont know if this helped, but here you go.

thats what i did...worked great...just use a repair kit like ^^^^ said...and bondo the front....thats all i did :-)

Thx for the tips guys.. did some more research and prepped the area today for glassin.

Basically what I'm gonna do is:
- Prep area and sand down edges of the cracks and surrounding area
- Duct tape the front of the skirt (where the paint is) and apply resin to the inside
- Lay mat on top and more resin
- Let it cure, add more if necessary, then take off the tape and put some resin on the front where the cracks are
- Then bondo and sand smooth

oh yea, forgot about prepping sorry. but that sounds like it would work. i was thinking how you would keep it straight and couldnt think of answer but that duct tape sounds like it will work. hope it turns out good

You'll want to do at a absolute minimum of two layers of matting, with resin over each layer.
