alright, im upgrading to a larger exhaust (greddy evo) and i need to know how much dynomat to cover the trunk well where the spare tire goes, the walls of the trunk, area over the fuel tank (under the back seat), the floor, the rear passenger walls?

also, how much "glue" or sticking material to buy?

hrc stage 1, sfmu, ml, prokits, egt, boost gauge, apexi tt, costum dp, dynotune fp gauge. gst muff, turbo spoiler

you'll probably need about 50-65 square feet. place a single layer in the fornt and rear floor board, under the rear seat, and on top of the rear wheel wells. then run a double layer over the transmission hump, in the trunk, and in the front wheel well/kickpanel/firewall area. that will take care of not only the exhaust noise but a lot of the wheel and engine noise as well. :thumbsup

edit: you dont need any glue. heat helps exponentially in adhearing the adhesive and making the material more flexable, so a hair dryer or heat gun can work wonders. also, a small roller can help to pat the material down. the eraser end of a pencil is pretty usefull in pushing the material into shallow cracks and crevaces.

dont use dynamat if you are only laying the material on the floorboard. it works well, but you will bve paying too myuch. look into cheaper alternatives such as bquite and fatmat.

Yeah, I think a more common answer is "a fuckload"... Ihave a greddy SP and I swear that the "sp" is for "Sound Pressure"....that fucker rattles me and I have a shit ton of expanding foam and dynamat in my car.

I got the dynamat really cheep cuz I used to work for Circuit Shitty
