I'm looking to install my gauges today after work, and was wondering what lead you guys tapped, and if I would have to take my dash apart to reach it. I have the upgraded invertor, if that matters at all...

Uhm, i used a wire above the fuse box in the dr kick panel...I think it was black with a green strip, i could be wrong. But it's a wire that gets power with the lights, if I remember correctly it's the lead that actually kicks on the relay for the headlights.

Does it kick on with the parking lamps then, or only when you turn on the headlights?

the one for parking lights is green/white. in the same place. there's a writeup w/ pics of the wire on the main site. you hafta take your dash apart a bit (just take out the cluster) so you can install the gauges and run the wires down to under the dash. might wanna glue/tape down the gas and temp gauges or make sure the needles dont' rub the overlay. i gotta mess with mine a bit more b/c it's rubbing slightly and not letting the needles swing freely. speedo and tach is no problem though.

the green/white wire coming off the dim adjuster is what I used which is + polarity. It turns on when the interior lights turn on like the gauge cluster. It is located on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Its a little knob that adjusts brightness of the interior lights. You need to remove the panel on the bottom of the driver side dash. This was the easiest method I found for turning on accessory lights.
