62184, What wattage bulbs for projector headlights? Wiring capabilities? Posted by Ozzmosis86, Nov-19-03 11:46 AM
I found some 100W H3's at a local store in Fort Wayne today. I was tempted to buy them, but I was nervous about putting 100W bulbs in those projectors. Can the projectors handle the heat, and can the factory wiring harness handle that much current? Can someone let me konw if they have 100W bulbs in their projectors?
Thanks,
Andy

I have heard of people melting thier wiring harnesses with 100 W bulbs, I have also heard of people melting thier projectors. They were expensive headlights, and I would hate to ruin them with bulbs. Can I please have some more peoples opinions?

Also can we use 100W bulbs in the factory foglights? The factory foglights are H3's correct, H3's also go in the projector lights right?
Let me know

Well I bought 2 pair tonight, 1 for my projectors and 1 for my foglights. I put the pair for the projectors in, they look great but I am still nervous as hell.
