Does anybody have any ideas on how to restore the color to the black wiper motor cover? Years of sunligh has pretty much made it light grey and armour all isn't working too well. I heard shoe polish might work. Any ideas?

Also, do we have cabin air filters??

Yes I spray painted mine with some paint made by duplicolor called...Bumper and trim paint. It has more flex additives then your regular spray paint. worked great and never chips. Just prep it the same as you would any other plastic panel. Hope this helps

DONT SPRAY PAINT! There is this stuff that I used on the small black inserts on the bumper. It is called black chrome. Its like this gel stuff that you rub into the plastic to revive the blackness.. Looks like new

I second that^^ I used that stuff on mine and it turned out great.

where do you get that black chrome at? like autozone or walmart?

dude, theres this shit called Back to BLack plastic polish. should work like a champ. i haven't gotten around to buying some but thats what i've been told. i think it's either meguiars or mothers.

Cool, thanks, I'll be on the lookout for it. I did see some kind of polish for the black trim in the Bavarian Autosport catalog, but it was like 20 bucks and i was turned off by it.

Black Magic works great too.

Mother's Back to Black - best stuff in the world. I use it on my wipers, and all plastic trim pieces. After you get done, its perfect. Kinda works like Armor All on leather/dash. Might be $3.25 give or take 50cents. BTW, its in a red bottle. :cheers

Back to black is good stuff IMO :thumbsup

I got the Mothers back to black and its good for about a few days, then to turns back to the faded black color...am I doing something wrong?
