anyone hear of anything for 2g's that is like a gas powered strut for holding the hoods up? so when you open it you dont need the lil bar, like on the rsx's and stuff?

if you do a few searches you will find some topics on them, but I have looked into it and it cant be done, there isnt enough area under the hood to put one that would funtion

I've seen a few eclipses at shows with them. I wanted to do this, but got lazy. Good luck to those that wanna do it.

yeah, search around, its been discussed a few times. main problems is finding where to stash the pistons...in which case youd have to start cutting into the engine bay area. im sure it COULD be done....just a pita and maybe not worth the time....but thats for each person to decide for themselves
