yea, i've been meaning to get around to this. Ever since last winter i can't open the door lock on the drivers side, fruastrating. anyone know how to fix this?, or do i need to call a locksmith or something like that? i've got manual door locks, and shimmying the key doesn't seem to work. Thanks

yeah, ive got that problem, my friend has that problem....and im sure a lot of other people have this problem..... i just ended up buying power doors and put an alarm on it....that solved my problem....but you could always take the passenger key hole out and put that one in the drivers side.... im sure you could call a locksmith, if you want to pay

I had that problem too it sucks you gotta open the passenger door and reach over and unlock and walk back around and look like an ass... I shaved the whole damn handles lol that solved my problem and looks bad ass! You can get a shaved door handle kit for like $100 just something to keep in mind!

heheh i have some knew friends....

i know how to solve this problem (works for me)

first off try turning the key to the left then right or however, go one direction then the other....

If this doesnt work then turn the key as far as possible to the unlock position.... then lift the door handle with the key turned.... this works good too.

yeah beofre i got my new locks all the way around i only had one on my driverside:shrug so one time i was at the mall and i go to open my door and the damn lock was sticking and i was standing there for like 2 minutes screwing around with my door trying to open it, finally it opped and i was so realeaved. hour away from home and no cell phone and a couple friends with me. Soon after i got my new set of locks for all the doors and hatch

what if i put the key in and it couldn't move the key either way at all?

then your lock is frozen up and coroded i think. my hatch lock was like this and my pssenger side didnt have one, thats why i had to buy all new locks. I got all 3 locks and a key for like 40 bucks of this board.
