What offset is on those rims? It almost looks like you are running spacers... they really stick out and match the side of the car. I kinda like that look.

One of my favorite colors on the eclipse... next to black of course...

The car is going all monotone on me, but I like the effect.

They are Enkei RPM-2's in a 17x8 with a 35mm offset and the tires are 225/45ZR17. They come right to the edge and almost just stick out, but it worked out very well. I also like the fact they only weigh 17lbs each.

As for the Falken Azenis, best tire I have ever used. I am more than impressed with the way they handle. My car scares me around corners and I give a lot of that credit to those tires.

You can get the wheels and tires from discount tire direct. The junk on the tires is some glue stuff I could not get off from shipping.

That is a beautiful offset on the car......now do you have a problem with the rubber hitting the actual fender itself?????

It hits the fenders on hard bumps and when I manage to fully compress it in a corner. It is fine during normal driving and maneuvering, but I keep finding myself pushing it hard. I am going to put on some Eibach pro-kits to help alleviate that. They are a 1.2" drop where my H&R sports are a 1.5" drop.

All I can say is perfect job:love

I love the stock look with it lowered and the white taillights (I have the same thing).

I wouldn't do anything else to it. I get sooo many compliments on the sleek sleeper look (non-rice). I'm sure you do too.

TINT YOUR WINDOWS!!! LOL

Sweet.

Clean and simple. Rims, wax, lowered, and a FMIC.

Are you back in the US? Your car is such a great example of how good an eclipse looks in stock form.

Cheers guys. :cheers

Yes, I am back in the US for good. Time for me to pick right back up where I started. I had a lot of new parts sorted out on the car this year in preparation of my return. Kudos to Armond for being the master mechanic he truly is. I am in gratitude to his service.

I am in Atlanta until Thanksgiving and then trekking across the country to permanently relocate to the Bay Area with a stop in Houston and Dallas along the way. Dino wants to run. }(

The FMIC is indeed an ApexI.

Tinted windows were on the top of my list since the day I bought it 5 years ago yet they still have somehow managed to elude me. Perhaps one day, but I am not really bothered. Maybe a very light tint.

Dino says I still need my 2GNT sticker to complete it.

The Azenis Sports are without a doubt the best tires I have ever put on the car. They amaze me every day with their limits. I have yet to hear them squeal and I have tried. Mounting them on 17lb 17x8 wheels does not hurt either. Armond did manage to get the car into a nice drift coming over an off camber turn with a dip at around 80mph, but it was fully controllable and still never squealed. Good fun. Other corners we were taking at around 110mph with the TD06-20G singing at a pretty 20psi and the 12.5" AEM brakes more than willing to bring it back down. I must give some credit to the RM Swaybars as well. The cars holds flat and steady. You can feel the quaife clawing its way through the corners as the power shifts to where it helps the most. The sohc 3.55 gears have made it possible for me to actually find the right gear as well where as before with the stock gearing I always felt too high or too low in the powerband.

I guess you could say there are a few things done to the car. ;)

It truly does feel like a complete package. Anyone could jump in and drive it. The emanage is working in the sense I do not notice it is there or that I have 50lb injectors idling at a nice 40psi where as most people are trying to keep it running at some ridiculously low number. I daily drive it as my only car at this moment until I acquire something else. It is exactly what I wanted out of it. I should be glad no one bought it. $12k is too cheap for what it is anyway.

Next up is some track time and some dyno time.

It is good to be home. :)
