So far the only things I've been able to find in urethane are blitz (and replicas) and the stillen front bumper.

Is it even that important? I do NOT want a blitz front (reduces ground clearance too much), and I'm not that big a fan of the stillen.

I was looking around and www.rushkits.com, the bx-kit looks pretty freaking nice, and 499 + s/h for the whole kit is a nuts price. Is it a good buy? Should I be worried about having a fiberglass front? My car is lowered already, and I don't want to have to be crazy careful when I drive, I want to be able to have fun :)

You will find there are many differing opinions on this topic.

In my experience installing kits on friends cars, I have found that if the urethane kit is not manufactured with near perfect OEM fitment,(Stillen's is a great fit)it can be a real PITA to install. Unlike fiberglass, urethane is very difficult to modify.

There are benefits to both kinds.

Urethane is very tough and it flexes enough to avoid cracking during normal driving conditions. If you're willing to spend the money on a good kit and get a nice fit, it is very nice to have on a daily driver.

Fiberglass, depending on its quality, can be anywhere from very fragile to relatively stout. It is easy to modify and repairs to small cracks are easily mended with the proper compound. My advice for fiberglass would be to buy from a site like Importfan where the fitment is better than most, since it won't take as much cutting or dremel work to get it to fit well.

Keep in mind that with any lowering and any kit you will have to be crazy careful around bumps and dips if you want to avoid cracks and paint damage. Hope this helps a bit.

^ what he said. I think urethane is only worth it for the front if you think you may scrape sometimes (fiberglass is easier to crack from scraping). I wouldn't get urethane sides or rear because they can't be easily modified to fit like fiberglass. Also, most side skirts need careful fitting to fit properly under the door.

Just like above said, I have the stillen and wouldn't have anything but Urethane on the front. I bottom out way toooo much.:shrug

Where can I get urethane fronts that aren't blitz or stillen. My friend was lowered with blitz and he has about 1" of ground clearance afterwards and the car was basically undrivable, I want a car that I can still drive aggressively, and only have to be careful in certain situations?

hrmm.. now I'm starting to just say fuckit and go full blitz (urethane front, fiberglass sides and rear) and just learn how to drive with the lower ground clearance.

Is there a difference between battle Z and blitz? They seem exactly the same?

Not to make a tough decision even harder, but alot of the Blitz urethane fronts I've seen tend to droop or sag under the headlights, you'll probably end up having to make some support brackets for it. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind.

agreed, most of the blitz urethane fronts i have seen are ugly as fuck. looks like card board boxes taped togeather

how many people here are driving on lowered blitz fronts (or other front)? How many problems do you have driving?

ya but the stillen is a PAIN IN THE BUTT keeping paint on it

wings west and extremedimensions.com have urethane kits i think vis racing does too

extremedimensions.com only has blitz urethane.
wings west has no urethane.

I'm pretty sure that blitz/stillen are the only available front bumpers.

Now I need suggestions for the rear. Gonna go blitz urethane front, blitz or drift sides, and the rear is still up.

i believe all wings west products are urethane.
i know the aggressor is and extremedimensions has an aggressor knockoff that is urethane

I say go with fiberglass and just be careful.
Thats what I'm doing/did.
