Anyone have experience with the aerogear predator hood and installation? Ive heard some people need to cut spots out for things like after market turbo, strut bar.. ex..

Anyone have any thoughts on this from experience?

Supposedly they don't fit with an aftermarket turbo. One of my boys here had one on his gs w/turbo. He had to cut it in many spots to get it to fit. Even after he cut it, he had problems with the turbo touching a lower vent. Eventually the heat from the turbo started warping the hood, so he sold it and got a oem carbon fiber.

I have a predator and no turbo,and I had all kinds of problems getting it fit. I don't see how it would fit w/turbo, it's to close to the hood. I especialy don't see it working with a Hahn kit. The manifold sits too high. I think it may work with a star though, I"m not sure, but it looks to me that it's just low enough to fit. I love the hood though, not many of them around these part. cyan has a turbo and predator hood so hah! it will fit you just may have to trim around it a little bit

yes, cyan has it on his car... BUT the paint melted and he has a different hood or, he just painted it again i dont even know. One of the lost 2gnters...
