Ok as some of you know I am getting rid of the aluminum spoiler, and I was planning on getting the high turbo spoiler. But now that I think about it I don't know if it would look right on my car. What do you guys think, and do you have any suggestions as to other spoilers that look good?

And no I am not leaving it spoilerless so don't bother posting about it.

personally I think that the aluminum spoiler looks fine, however imo, I think that the tubro spoiler would look good too. It's all how you think it would look

I really don't understand how people think that my spoiler would serve no performance purpose. Because I find that with it my rear end is a lot more stable than without it. I think it allows for better control with the FWD.

I believe that spoilers do have purpose, and that having one will cause you to feel that handling is better than it would be if you didn't have one. I also think that you're aluminum spoiler, with that body kit looks real good.

Ever heard of the placebo effect?

In any case, I would vote for the stock turbo spoiler.

I think as far as looks and performance go you can't beat the chin spoiler. When I had mine I could feel added downforce on the interstate. And the reason it's important is the front wheels are the ones that's putting the power to the ground. I want those to stick as much as possible.

The car felt like it stuck to the road better. Looked badass too. Just watch out for speed bumps. Mine lasted 2 months before I chipped in going up a driveway.

It takes about 2 hours to install, including jacking up the front end of the car. I dug a shallow hole in the backyard and put my floor jack in it. Then I drove over the jack so it was under the crossmember. The problem is when you lower the car after you're done you can't get the jack out. That's the reason for the hole. btw I dug a hole about 2 feet square and 4-6 inches deep that way I had a little room to move the jack around once I drove over it. When I put the jack in the hole it's flush with the ground.

Here's a picture and a link that has more info about it. I wish they cost less.

Sorry, but as much as I love the turbo wing, it would not look good at all with an Eclipse with a body kit. The wing is too curvy and made to flow smoothly with the stock body, once you mix it with a body kit it's just a huge crash.

With that said, I think a nice spoiler for cars with body kits would be like Myke's or JarradGST's, or a more squared spoiler like the Evo's. Those would look much nicer than a turbo or aluminum wing on your car.

Thanks! :thumbsup

I remember someone on DSMTuners was thinking of making a carbon fiber turbo wing... it turned out it would cost like $700-800. :o

For the record, my car wont be black/white for much longer. And I don't really want to spend that much money on a CF wing.

I really love the evo spoiler, but I can't find it anywhere.

Personally I think both of those spoilers would look even more lame than my aluminum.

And people keep in mind there is no silver on my spoiler except for the stands, the blades are white, painted with the car.
