bodywise, it's staying right where it is. Under the hood.... well my friends, that is a different story (when i get money)

you can do cheap stuff though. like a grill, paint the headlights, paint the door handles, clear corners, etc. little stuff like that makes a difference and is cheap. and its not like you are going out and getting a body kit or a big fiberglass wing...i really hate when people do thatx(

eeh, you are just jealous j/k:thumbsup

i like it. i don't know why but i wanted the tread pattern to be seen in it. (my sig isn't as big as some others!)

i was hoping for more replies, but i guess nobody understands why i started this thread...

:puke barf

to farmdogg55: i usually have a grill in there, but when i painted the car i took it out and i'm waiting for the paint to fully cure before putting another in again.. i don't want to gouge the soft paint

Anyone who paints their own car and has it come out that good deserves respect.

Dude...no offense, but didn't you just start a thread last week about your car?

It looks exactly the same as in the other thread.

Its stock...why you posting it so much. How can we have an opinion of a stock car? Everyone starts with a stocker.

I do like your sig though. It looks a lot nicer than the other one you had.

--bolt on turbo kit (star, hahn, etc.)
--rear drum to disc set up

i think that it is neither fast nor furious. perhaps you could just paint it limegreen or somthing.

of course, i wouldnt want you to make it 2fast or 2furious...that would be rediculous.

Well this is a technical forum and the jokes should be kept in the pits:nono

Back to the topic at hand. You need a drop, clear markers and your handles need to be painted. Also, I would pay the money to have the talon high spoiler put on:thumbsup

had the chance to paint door handles when i painted my car, but i kind of like the red/black theme... i might go for the black wheels in the future... (i wonder how much powder coating those things would cost)

Right on dude! I love your car. :thumbsup

Keep those handles black and keep it as stock looking as possible. Add a little forced induction to the mix and you'll be my hero.

oh, i will... it will be a high compression forced induction car when i'm all done

Hey Jersey, you mentioned to him about putting the high spoiler on the car. What do you guys think of putting an other-than-stock spoiler on the back of a 99 Eclipse GS. My friend told me I shouldn't because it's non-turbo. I just figured I'd like the look of one, but what are others opinions on aftermarket spoilers (not a fan of the aluminum, though)
