You have to get them molded in, and repaint the entire roof, and most of the top area of your car. I would estimate at least 600 bucks total for paint and install...

I don't see how anyone that would be intimidated by a scoop.. unless of course they didn't understand anything about areodynamics.

Enlighten me. Is this the shield you put around the sunroof, or something completely different?

Something different, look at the roof on the F&F Eclipse... it's a purely aesthetic mod, looks really aggressive.

5981, It must be so loud though... Posted by Kahn, Jun-30-01 04:10 AM
I mean if you open your sunroof - it makes a lot of noise - imagine a freaking sail on top of your car, that just channels, air - I betcha it would pull off at high speeds unless they can somehow seriously bolt it or weld it on. I don't know though - Tommyboy - care to let us in on some info???

I read somewhere that it had to be like bolted or rivited on, and then welded. So if you do this it's prolly alot of labor. Also i'd think you'd need to paint qite a bit of the roof, might as well get a custom paint job while your at it. Deze

i would but i don't want to hinder my cars performance. but i do plan on having a car just for cruzing and no racing. i'll put it on that. but i'm not certain what other kind of car it would look good on. perhaps a new celica :)
