nice and clean...is your strut tower brace on right?....its covering your oil cap.....or did you buy the turbo one?

You're right it looks that way but no the bar is on right. The cap is behind it.

The oil cap does not look like it's behind it at all. It's definatly going right over it. Mine was like that before until i modified the bar a bit. You don't have to lie to us ;-)

After checking it out the bar overlaps the cap slightly but it's high enough that it doesn't matter. I can get the cap off and oil in with no problem. After you guys mentioned that I wondered how I got oil in there before...

If it wasnt for the turbo I don't think I'd like it. Just because I know a few other people that have red with that same racing stripe.

Yeah I get a lot of different takes on the stripes. I just saw a GSX with those stripes on it and thought it looked pretty cool how they flowed over the spoiler and back etc. Since my handles and mirrors are black already I thought the stripes would work well with a black and red scheme. But yeah I like them ;-).

I think it looks very clean, and it is extremely nice. It's just that I wouldn't have gone that direction with the stripe.

Put a high turbo wing on it :)

Oh dude, no offense taken at all. As far as the turbo wing goes that's a big no. I want people to know it's an RS. I won't be doing any other exterior mods besides some rims and lowering which I mainly just want for the performance anyway.

ya I was racing some guy the other day and he had 16's I believe and my 18's were grabbing like mofos while his kept spinning.

Hey your car looks almost identical to mine. Except I have a wings west body kit on it and a aluminum wing. Man thats weird. I thought I was the only one like that until I saw someone copied me and put his car on the internet too( http://www.atlcomputing.com/aaron/eclipse/photos/GSX/8-16-99/default.htm ). I used to have pics but I deleted them off my computer and don't have a camera to put them back on.

only thing i would do is lower it and get a dsm side mount intercooler

having 18's doesnt mean you get traction. i sure as heel dont get any traction with 17x7.5 wheels and tires, and most 18's have that width. bigger rims = slower car

OMG DUDE YOUR CAR IS A SLEEPER! I didn't know it was turbo.. i thought when you said "soon to be intercooled" you meant soon to have turbo.. I use to think "oh just another ecilpse with racing stripes.." and pimping the 14s make your car look like a slow RS when actually you're boosted.. I LIKE IT!

Dude you get a giant :thumbsup from me. With stock 14's, stock side height, and a turbo kit your car has sleeper written all over it. I love it.

No way, you go to Eastern? I have friends that go there and I go up to see about once a semester. I didn't know there were other 2GNT members that close to me. I thought everybody was up near Chicago...

If you look close in the pics I can swear it looks like someone got ahold of black paint and put stripes down your car.
