I need help, I'm a girl w/ an eclipse and I need some advice on what kinda body kits I need and what all I should do to it.. give me some examples... please :)

Welcome. Depends on what kind of Eclipse it is. If it's an RS i'd say you do need some type of body kit,and if it was me I'd go with oem (stock)

Now if it's a GS,GST,GSX I'd leave it alone other than lowering, rims, exhaust. Things on that nature.

if you dont want to stay stock and want a bodykit, it all depends on how agressive or flashy you want to come across with the kit. for a mild yet agressive look, the buddy club 2 kit is a very good choice. if you want very agressive, get something like the blitz even tho way too many people have that one nowadays. as far as other things to do to your car, that also depends on what you want out of it. if you dont care about power, just do the basic bolt ons which are listed in the first couple of stages in the power stages section of this site. if you want a lot of power either get some nitrous or a turbo kit. good luck:thumbsup

JwadeClipse why you have to knock everyone? Do you put others down to make yourself feel greater than everyone else? I saw some pretty nasty things said in another thread. If you dont like what people say, say shit to yourself or out loud, dont post it.

Girl, as for you... I sent you an email, dont let these or any guy bash you for being a girl or asking a question. Dont be afraid to search for stuff, thats how I learned... reading. Bodykit wise, personally, I went with the Stillen front and RDora sides and rear, which is down in the cellar collecting dust until January. Do some research or browse through previous posts and check out pics. It's up to you and what you like. :thumbsup

Do ya have any pics? That would make things easier for us. I personally love the buddy club 2 kit...it's close to stock look, but stands out. Then slap some nice 17's or 18's on there to complete the look. Maybe do the rims first.

#2 im not bashing...i think its great that girls get into cars and im trying to get my girl into a 2g. if im giving anyone a hard time its some of the same guys i see yelling "use the search!" running up asking for pics of the girl and stuff. im really not trying to start any trouble i just find it hilarious to the point of...well..you get the idea that when a guy asks something they dont get much help but as soon as a girl posts anything....anything at all, no matter how weird or whatever there is always 25+ guys IM'ing her, emailing her, and whatever. and you know what, im sure the girls get tired of posting stuff only to have guys hit on them. im sure they would like to be treated just like everyone else :) again, i wasnt trying to start anything, and good luck on your project...nice to see another girl getting into cars....especially 2g's :cheers

bodykits are totally up to you. If you need to see and example of kits on eclipses then just hit up google and search for eclipse body kits. You will come across a lot of them. If you want to go for originality (sp) then mix and match or something. There are kits out there that a LOT of people have and some that not too many have. I have a full Bomex kit because I felt that it all went nicely together instead of mixing up different side skirts and such. Although I hated it before I would have to say that the stillen fronts are the one of the nicest fronts on an eclipse.
