The finish on my silver Motegi's is getting kinda shotty in some small spots in the inside of a few spokes...hardlynoticeable...but I'm thinking of just painting my rims gloss black.

So....the rims on my car, gloss black with silver centercaps still. Can soemone photoshop this pic for me....any advice/suggestions are welcome.

I was just thinking to Make the rims black and smoke my taillights -- would give my car a mean/aggressive look.

Get em refinished silver....looks to perty to mess with. Unless you jus paint em black and if you don't like it, blast em and get them refinished.

ya personally I think they look perfect the way they are. I can only see chrome if not silver on your rims. Not sure if black will flow with the rest of it.

damn.....black looks a helluva lot better then i thought it would. I would stay silver though unless you are changing the whole look of your car.

Hmm....Ive just had these in silver for so long..and I kinda wanna try something new.

I can always repaint them Silver again....not sure what I'm gonna do, but if/when I paint them I will post pics.

p.s. I'm not blasting or powdercoating anything....can't really afford it. If i came to something that drastic, I would sell these and get some 19's....but I dont see that happening.

im gonna go against the grain on this one and say go with the black. the silver looks great and i was a little iffy on the black until i saw that photoshop. i personally love dark rims but its all in personal preference. you cant go wrong either way imo:thumbsup

I say no to black paint. If you paint your rims, the finish will not be perfectly smooth and will look not as good as you like. I would only paint stock rims. I think your's look better silver, and if you really want, save up 200 for powdercoating.

i like the silver, but if you do want to go with black rims, get some with a polished lip. dont just paint your currents :)

i think they would look pretty badass though. especially if you ever want to go with a CF hood later on down the road.

I am considering getting dark colored rims as well. Will go real nice with a CF hood!:thumbsup I'd say go for it!

Ryan, DONT GET BLACK because then I wont be able to get over my jealousy of it all, but really though, your car is so clean, always has been man. I dont know about the tails though.
