Well my friend Doug and I were on our way to a meet in Durham when it happened (I was following him). Some asshole started coming over in my lane and all I could do was brake and try moving over to the shoulder, well the next thing I know the car is fishtailing and then in the woods. The car spun around in the middle of the highway about 2 times and then spun off the road down some steep ass drop off and into the woods. Everything happened so fast and I just knew I was gonna die. The car is pretty much fucked though, the driver side took all of the impact. When we were trying to find the car (it was dark) I found my driver side mirror and a piece of my sideskirts hanging on a tree, lol. But the major damage is the driver side rear, the rear fender is almost completely flat, the driver side rear wheel is at an angle and shoved up in the wheel-well. The rear bumper is bowed in, the tailight is busted, and the spoiler is cracked. The rear of the front fender is all pushed into the car and that tire is blown. So Im thinking its pretty much gonna be totaled. Im alright, except this throbbing pain in my leg and arm.

Damn... that sucks. You should have your arm and leg checked out. Sorry to hear about the eclipse, but just remember... its a car and it can be replaced.

nope he didnt stop at all, he kept going and left me for dead. All the cars that were around stopped to check on me though. They all just knew I was dead, my friend Doug might be slightly traumatized by it all. I know I am though, just riding in Dougs car had me terrified. I know I wont be scared of driving forever so Im thinking 1G AWD or possibly a TT stealth with the 'rents help, but we will see. My uncle actually drove me past the place where the accident occured and in the day light Im suprised Im alive, it had to be atleast a 25-30 ft embankment that I flew off into the trees and I know I had to still be going atleast 60mph when I hit the trees.

Also Im gonna go ahead and go to the hospital tonight, its killing me to walk on my right ankle.

and you know what really pisses me off. I just put new tags on the car (which read 1TUFFRS), washed it and put a full tank of gas in it. All for nothing x(

yeah they got it out, it took two two trucks to get it out and then they had to put it on a flatbed.

its good to here you are semi-OK. if at all possible, get yourself checked out. i thought i was fine when i got in my wreck (besides the 50 pinholes in me from glass shards), but i found huge bruises on my legs from the steering wheel a couple days later. it wasnt anything major, but it made me realize that you may be hurt and dont realize it.

well its now 2:06 am EST and Im just getting back from the hospital. Turns out my ankle is both sprained and strained and now I have to wear an ankle brace and walk with crutches. The muscles in my neck are also strained, but fortunately I dont have to wear a brace. They have me taking vicoden (sp), hydrocodone, and ibuprofen so atleast I wont be in pain.

To be honest I dont know if the guy hit me or not, but there is no way in hell that he couldnt have seen what happened since he was so close to me. He/She will get theirs in the end.

Right now Im leaning more towards a 1G GSX since the mods will be sooo much cheaper, but if I get a stealth it wont be anything less than a TT. Hopefully some good will come of all this. :thumbsup

Oh, and for all the people sending me PMs asking about the rims, they actually held up pretty damn well. Three of them are still perfect and one is only very very very slightly bent. So yes they are coming off the car, but no the wheels will not be for sale. They are going on whatever car I get next.

I should have some pics of the damage soon, so stay tuned, hehe.

well the thing is, whatever I take off, must be replaced with the stock components. I got these brakes off a buddy of mine that totaled his GS and swapped my stockers for the Baer brakes and $200. Im going to need a set of stock brakes to sell the Baers.

hey man, i work with muscles, ligaments and tendons, etc. every few hours put a gel ice pack on your neck and ankle, but don't leave it on for longer than 20 mins on your ankle and 15 on your neck. rest them, do some compression after 3-days, elevate the ankle and if you can afford it go see a neuromuscular therapist or massage therapist (i'll be liscensed in both in a little over a month. but if you tell me where your at i might be able to help you find one. after maybe a week get some light massage in the areas and around them. not too much pressure.:thumbsup
