I'm wondering what people would think of the painted headlights on a red car (w/black roof) I think it looks kinda cool, but then again i better like it because i was messing with photoshop for about an hour to figure it out.

im undecided on this one.... i liked my headlights stock alot wen my car was red, but once the car was painted black they had to change.... tough call man... i think red looks good with stock.

There was one guy on here who had a red car and painted the headlights red. That looked awesome and I would recommend you doing that!

ok, thanks, i was thinking that it might look cool because my roof is also black....

and it was farmdogg who has a red talon with the red headlights, that was a cool car, but i'm not for red headlights he also had the widemouth talon front (97-98)

Well it kind of depends...what year is your eclipse? If it was 97-99, yeah of course you would leave it stock...but if it was 95-96 I'd recommend spraying it black. I got a red eclipse (with 95-96 headlights) and I thought it looked a lot better with black housings. I followed one of the members postings on doing it...looks great!

was a cool car? it still IS a cool car haha. but i did used to have the 95-96 front. here are some pics for ya of red. if you dont like red, do black, it will look good.

was, is, it all means the same, red headlights on the 95-96 bumper will pass, but it looks badass on the 97-98 like you have, it looks so mean, but i have the smiley, so i might either stay stock, or if i get real (REAL) bored, black, maybe a dark grey (it'd have to be shiny though)

my car is red(obviously) and my headlights are painted black..i love the way it looks, it adds a sort of meanness to the front..i'll post a pic if i can

I'm gonna say go black. Then get your rims PC'd black. Then get some night shades and smoke yuor tail lights. After that, smoke a cigarette. It will look so good it will be like sex.

Red car + black outs on the front and rear + black rims = badass imo. If any of your pics worked right now (could be KM.com related - I'm getting a 404), I would PS some ideas upon it.

I'd paint em black. The chrome is always too shiny and out of place on the 95-96 (I had one and painted it). Plus it'll match your roof then. With black rims, it will all look sweet.
