i have gotten word there is a possible GS Spyder (yr unknown) for sale about 20 minutes from me. I havent had a chance to check it out yet, and will probably do so tomorrow, but they are saying the car was priced at apx $7000.
Now Im thinking here....a Spyder for 7g. Has to be a 96 with high miles or needing some work. A dealership is selling this one, so it cant need that much work.

Right now I have a 96 RS is great condition w/ 65k on it.

Lets say this Spyder is a 96 with 90k on it and they are asking 7,000. Would you sell your RS for like 8 or 9,000, pay off your current loan to the bank, and then take out another 3,000 loan to cover the Spyder?

This might be hard to understand, so if you are having problems trying to figure out what i'm saying, disreguard the financial aspect.

Would you trade a 96 RS w/65k on it for a 96 Spyder w/ 70-90k?

Depends if it is the GS-T Spyder. If not, don't bother. They have the same power output as our engines except it is bigger, 2.4 liter. Plus, performance wise, a Spyder is WAY WAY heavier than an RS. Aesthetics purposes - yes, performance - a big FAT NO.
