lol yeah I bought the car with some damage on the driver side.. had to swap door shells cuz the door was fuct, so I was rockin a silver door for a while hehe. It's all good now :thumbsup

Yah hehe.. I was gonna go with black again, cuz black is just fucking bad ass. But swirlies and hard to maintain/easy to dirty caused me to decide on a new color. It was a close call between crimson (I was gonna do a custom blend) or WRX blue cuz damn.. every time I see that color I stare laf. In the end, WRX blue won it over. The shop did a really nice job doing a 2-tone effect for the engine bay, which was not painted. Its blue.. then it just fades into black. Not contrasty at all. I'll get some pix of that later.

Looks great, love the color choice. Front lip, springs, and wheels will make a huge difference, it will look completely badass, looking forward to following the progress. Have you given any thought to what wheels you might be going with?

Not sure yet.. I'm thinkin bout some 17" (not 18s cuz they too xpensive, and can't really run with em) gunmetal with chrome/silver lip.. not sure what rims yet heh.

Looks really good, I really like the color. The ass end does look super high though in that side pic.

I want to see engine bay pictures.....did you take that beautiful blue into the engine bay or leave the engine bay black??????

Thx.. yes I need some rims bad lol. Color code is 02C, Subaru WR Blue Pearl. Great color, looks way nicer in person hehe. As for the engine bay.. pix soon. I don't have a digicam yet heh.

Car is dope mayng... I would say drop it first, then get wheels. You don't want that huge ass wheel gap with your new rims.

Here's what the body shop did:
1. fixed all the door dings and body damage on the car
2. installed and painted low blitz skirts, turbo wing
3. painted the whole car, no engine bay or door jambs, but they blended it in nice.. I just took a pic with my friend's cam.. I'll post soon as he uploads it.

I got a deal cuz my friend knows the shop owner so it was all $1300.

What rims did you get for that price? I'd like some 18's for the wrx :) It seems like all the 18's I was interested in at that site were 1099 and up with tires.


BTW, nice color choice heh. Honestly I still like the royal sapphire pearl on my eclipse more than the wrx world rally blue pearl. It's just a lil too bright to me.

IMO...Our cars were made for 18's and a drop. Whenever I see ecipses around here with 17's they look so tiny. Nice color but please save for a few more weeks/months and get 18's. Happy modding!!
