I was wondering how you shorten the shift knob. I'm interested in doing this but I don't know where to start or what to do. Someone please help!!! Thanks.

you dont really mean shift Knob do you ? I think u mean shifter in which case u can have it cut then welded. You can bring it to a muffle shop and have them cut and weld it for you for 10-20 bucks.

Edit: Not all dsm's suck, just mine :)
