I had my orignal 99 front cracked in a car wash and now I have a blitz fron buy I am tired of it and was wondering if these 97-99 bumpers are just as good as oem.They are made of urethane but was wondring if anyone here has one or has heard about them because alot of people with urethane blitz and others have a sag problem under the headlights.

I have a replica 97-99 bumper on my rs. The quality is good and worth the money that I spent on it. I think it was aroun two hundren dollars but I don't really remember. You shouldn't have to worry about it sagging. It's not technically as high of a quality of urethane as the oem ones, but all that really means is that the urethane isn't as flexible which in your case is good because it won't sag. The only bad part is that since the urethane isnt't as flexible it might crack a little bit easier.

I emailed a guy that sells them on ebay and he said they are made of urethane.Is the one you have not flexible?And what is it made of?

It's made of urethane but not the same quality urethane as oem bumpers. It's good enough though. The only difference is that it's not quite as flexible which is good as long as you don't hit anything because it won't sag like an oem bumper. I didn't use the metal bar that goes along the bottom of the bumper and it didn't sag at all.

do you have any pics of the bumper? how was fitment? was it pretty much a bolt on deal or did you have to drill holes, shave, etc like a typical aftermarket body kit?

p.s. did it come with mounting tabs for fog lamps and stuff? i would like to mount the stock fogs and didnt know if this was possible.

Fitment was just like oem and it does have tabs for the fog lights. I don't have any pictures. I would take some, but I took the bumper off and put the stock one back on to sell the car.
