just put my cf hood with hood pins on last night (thanks for the help python!). i will post pics as soon as i get my brothers camera back, but my question is how durable are these things? has anyone had one break other then a non-crash related issue? they are scary light next to the stock hood.

They flip up sometimes so make sure u have hood pins. I wouldnt trust the stock latch. Besides that you shouldnt have any problems.

actually a friend of mine had a 96 prelude with a vis extreme gt cf hood

he took it to the honda dealer for some kind of noise he had and the fuckers broke it...... they dropped it like most people do their normal hoods and it cracked right in half.... i got to see the damage it was pretty sick

thats ok though because they raped themselves when that happened, they gave him like 1000 for breaking it.... lol

Damn that first pic looks sweet, but the second one it really sticks out. I think it looks a little blah in the pics, but I am sure it looks sweet as hell in person. I'm still waiting for the Extreme GT. Hopefully we get it before the IL. meet.
