Ive been thinking about this for a while now. I know that there would have to be modifications done to the bumper itself before installation, but i know its possible. With my car being so low, i was thinking about shaving a few peices from it anyways. The peices im talking about are closest to the wheels, it slops towards the ground. If these "slops" were taken off and the bottom of the bumper made flat, an rsdsm lip would be totally possible. Now the question is, who could make one and who would test it out? Im all for doing the mod to my bumper anyways, so if someone can come up with a lip id be willing to test it out. This might sound stupid to some, but i think its a pretty good idea. Im only trying to make my smiley face bumper stand out a little more since the 97-99's are taking over:thumbsup

yeah, all we need to do is shave off that downward spire near the wheels and is should be close to working. only thing is we have a little "lip" that sticks out right under the center hole as the 2gb bumper goes straight down. not that it matters, just something i noticed.

im already ahead of you, im currently working on a 95-96 only lip, est completion 3-4 weeks, i will post pics when im done

or u could just get a 97 front bumper :) come to the dark side

But, I'd like to see what you're talking about. Sounds like an innovative idea.

don't get me wrong if i had the money i'd buy a 97-99 conversion in a heart beat... but i plan on getting a conservitive body kit one day (after engine plans), but i want a lil'sumtin to help out the looks dept. in the mean while...

i hope this comes out good... we need more parts for our cars any ways, there isn't enough market out there for us IMO

im picking up a speare bumper today to fit the lip with so it will need no extra work to fit on. if i do decide to mass produce these, i will either sell them in black or primered so you can get them painted to match the color of your car.
