I don't even have the summbitch on yet, but can I wax this thing once I get my hoodpins and get it all on? It's supposed to have a UV protectant on it, and I don't know if wax will help or hurt it. Holler at me. TY. :thumbsup

Yes, you can wax your new VIS Hood. I have one and before it even went on the car it had a coat of Meguiars #26 on it.

I am sure you can wax anything, it just makes everything protected from the weather and shiny looking. I wax my tail lights and head lights. Its an old car show trick to making your car shiny. :thumbsup

Its like gaylord focker once said, "You can wax anything with nipples".

before you do that make sure you hood has been clear coated....alot of cheaper carbon fiber products just leave a buffer resin finish to them. when they get warm you will actually scratch them. so just beware...VIS is some high quality stuff but better to check then mess up the $500 hood!!!!!
