Ok, I finally finished installing these bad boys, here are a few pics. One cool thing is that the turn signal is an indeglow strip rather than a light buld. What do you think???

They look good, but what if they burn out? Have to buy new mirrors?

No, you can order a new light strip. They make a bunch of different colors.

HOT DAMN THOSE ARE FRIGGIN' TIGHT!!! I wanted to get those but I didn't like the way they looked on the Mercedes and what not. Now I might want some for myself. Where'd you get yours? Were they hard to install? I can't figure out how to remove the stock mirror, can you enlighten me?

I ordered them from shmotorworks.com (they took their sweat ass time getting them to me)

Install was not difficult on the mind, just tedious. I didnt get any instructions (as always) so I didnt know where to run the wiring. I just ran it to the front turn signal lights in the headlamp. The hard part is getting the wire through the plastic tube that runs from the door to the car, ya know the one that already has wiring for your speakers and stuff.

To get the old one off all you have do is pull the plastic cover off for the inside. behind that piece is a small piece of foam and behind that is three nuts holding it on.

The only bad thing that I have found out so far is you cant see the light strip in the day time. The sun is to bright. So I am going to end up getting a different color. They make a yellow one that has 5 or 6 little lights in is rather than the indeglow strip. The strip does look cool at night though.

hope this helps

i hope you don't have the APC ones. my boy got those on his and Talon says he saw it and they were fogged up on the inside of the strip from improper insulation kinda like thier altezzas.

yup, chris is right, fog up real bad, and eventually the water shorts the light strip out.

i've gone through 2 sets already... and the worst part is that i fiberglassed tweeters where the factory adjustor knobs go, so i can't put my factories back in either.

I dont know... I have only had them on for like 3 days. I will keep a close eye on them. Thanks for the warning.

When I took them apart to paint it they looked like they were ok. you cant even take out the light strip. it is in a sealed plastic piece. Well I guess if I end up with water in it I will just get new strips and try to fill any openings like I had to do w/ my altezzas pieces of shit. The one good thing is that if water does APC will send you new strips at no cost. I broke one of the mirrors while I was installing them and all I had to do was call apc and they sent me a new one No questions asked and no cost to me for the part or the shipping. It came in three days to. But we will see, again thanks for the warning
