55144, Wiring the center tail light write-up?

Does anyone have a good write-up on how to wire the stock center tailight to light with the brakes? I was thinking I need to use a dremel and cut out some holes and just stick some bulbs in there, but what wires do I splice/connect to to get the lights to work with the other 2? Any info will be much appreciated! TIA!
