Are there 6x 1156 bulbs and then the reverse light bulbs on our rear end?
I'm putting all LED bulbs in because I have mine blacked out, (I'm about to put on my Eclipse rear end.)

tails use 1157 too the two inner ones are 1157 and the outer one is 1156 i forget though havent changed them in like 2 years

I used 1156 in all of them, they fit and work fine.

Yep, this is correct! If you look at the bottom of the bulbs, the 1156 only have one contact and the 1157 have 2.
