i just left mine sitting there in the engine bay near the headlights. it's pretty snug. you *could* mount them if you wanted but it'd be a PITA to drill in there prolly. the wires aren't that long so there's not much you can really do with the ballasts...

I mounted my driver side ballast under the fuse box. Then when I had my bumper off...I found that the ballast fit perfectly in the cut out area of the support that hold the bumper support bar. So I mounted the passenger side ballast on that bracket and the wires went up through a hole that was already cut out and it worked out great because you couldn't see the ballast and there was just enough wire to make it so there wasn't tons of wires hanging everywhere. Just put double sided sticky tape all over the bottom and sides of the ballast and jam it into the bracket and it'll be there for ever.

i am just kinda worried about them falling off and putting stress or worse breaking the wires. i hope i can do this ok. i dont want to take off my bumper. if i want to put an msd ignition in front of my ecu, will putting the ballast underneath the fuse box interfere with the room to do it?
EDIT: i just thought of another good idea!!! zip ties!!!! :thumbsup

You don't have to take the bumper off to put them there. I just had the bumper off when I was putting in the dual projectors, when I had them.

talon614: I don't have the dual projectors anymore. A redneck in a 4x4 took care of them. They weren't bad when I had them though.
Diceman19: I didn't use the fuse. I actually don't know anyone that used the fuse either. Just plug them in and you'll be good.

ya mine didn't have a fuse either... if there's a problem you'll just blow the headlight fuse. i know some people with HID's had problems if they turned on their HID's a foglights at the same time (just from the large current when you first turn them on). if you turn them on separately it was fine though.

thanks mang! it is so hard to believe that is my car. it looks so good in the dark. lol. anyways. i got them in. they are awesome. definetly do it. it is such a PITA but it is so worth it to have night time vision. laters.
PS. where can you get replacement bulbs or information from hanabi directly. i cant find their website anywhere and i am sure the bulbs are proprietary cuz of the wiring harness. (manufacturer specific)
