At what milage does the check engine light come on in our cars? I just reached 66,000 even and the light came on I beleive at that point but I am not for sure. tia

Uhh, the CEL doesn't have a set mileage at which it comes on. It indicates that some sensor is reading something out of spec. I think I read somewhere that AutoZone will read the CEL code for free, maybe look into that. If not, check with a local garage or satan (expect to pay them around 40 bucks to diagnose the problem though).

I take that back, it seems AutoZone will read it for free if you have it on a datalogger, found info in this thread
